During the year, the two teams pursued their own program objectives and collaborated with Humphrey colleagues through lectures and seminars. Unlike the graduate school experience, the program encourages scholars to leave also their guest schools to learn more about American culture and to communicate among their American peers. Selection process and maturity
To apply for this educational program, applicants must have;
- University degree (first degree or bachelor’s degree)
- Five years working experience
- limited or no previous experience in the United States
- demonstrated leadership qualities
- record of public and local services
- English language.
Application deadlines vary by city, but fall annually between May and September. Please check with your local embassy or the Fulbright Commission for an application deadline. Embassies and commissioners should also be nominate at the Institute of International Education office in Washington, DC by October 1.
