The popularly known music site “Spotify”, was down for nearly an hour today, immediately after a widespread outage affected users in countries across Europe and beyond. The music streaming service was quick enough to respond and sort out the issue within an hour.
It’s surprising to users cause this platform is one of the best in the world and has only come across a situation like this when the company forgot to renew its TLS certificate. But this time around that doesn’t seem to be the problem.
Spotify also crashed on mobile devices due to a Facebook iOS SDK bug, but today’s outage doesn’t appear to be linked to any Facebook issues. We’re yet to get more feedback from the company concerning what happened today.
