MxM News claims to offer news articles that cut through censorship and mainstream bias. Here’s how they do it. A new app called ‘MxM News’ topped the charts on the App Store as the latest viral app of 2022.
If we discuss smartphones, the conversation often revolves around the phones themselves. Apple and Samsung lovers want to know about the latest handsets, Qualcomm’s newest processor, and the latest iOS update.
But it’s just as important to know about the apps. Along with big names like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, lots of less-known apps become popular for a short period of time.

Earlier this year, Locket Widget was a must-have app for iPhone users. Note It, Spam App, Motionleap, and the other lesser-known applications haven’t caught on around the world, but they’re some of the few that give us a chance to try something new on the phone that we spend most of our time on.
As of March 2022, MxM News is a recent app to catch the attention of the public. Originally, its popularity was first noted on March 22 in a story published by Axios.
Developed partly by Donald Trump Jr., the MxM name references the app’s ‘minute by minute’ coverage for frequently updating its users on the latest stories.
MxM News, an aggregation app, scours the internet for articles from other publications and feeds them to you all in one place.
Not unlike Donald Trump’s Truth Social app that launched a few weeks prior, Donald Trump Jr.’s MxM News app is apparently supposed to offer news that cuts through censorship, mainstream bias, and institutional dominance that has left society divided and misinformed. In practice, however, it is unclear how that will work actually.
How Does the MXM App work?
Downloading the app is simple enough; go to the App Store on your iPhone (or Google Play if you have an Android phone), search for the MxM News app, and download the one from developer ‘Telegraph.’ Upon opening the app, you will be prompted to log in using an existing account or create a new one.
You can make an account with MxM News or sign up with your Google, Facebook, Twitter, or Apple login. Once you’ve set up or linked your account, MxM News requires you to select the topics you are interested in.
The current options are rather limited, with categories only being Politics, Policy, Life & Culture, International, Finance & Money, and America First.
Tap the blue circle in the top right corner after choosing your favorite categories, and with just one tap, you’re on the MxM News home page.
The app defaults to showing trending articles, but you can use the navigation bar at the top to filter stories by various categories.
At the top, there is a search icon for looking for specific stories or topics. There’s also a menu icon towards the bottom left that has options for profile settings, display settings, etc.
By MxM News’s logic, having content that fans of Donald Trump and Trump Jr. will be interested in means they want to obliterate bias and censorship.
After a quick examination of the app, many stories were found that came from publications like Fox News, Breitbart, New York Post, and Newsmax.
You might want to check out MxM News if you are into that kind of publication. Otherwise, there’s nothing of value for you here.
