How You Can Send and Receive Money with Cash App
In order to use Cash App, you will start by downloading Cash App on your smartphone. The app will then take you through enrollment. There, you will need to create a user account and then link one bank account at least. With that bank account, you will be able to send money to other Cash App users and also be able to transfer money from your Cash App account to your own bank account. This service is similar to the likes Venmo and PayPal, which also lets you link a bank account to send money.
It is also possible for you to keep any received funds in the app until whenever you are ready to withdraw them.
Here are steps on how to use cash app:
- The first thing to do is to open the Cash App mobile app.
- Type in the total amount you wish to send.
- Then click on the “Pay” button.
- After that, type in the email address, phone number, or “$Cashtag” (the receiver’s username in the app).
- Then type in what the payment you are sending is for.
- When you are done with that, click on the “pay” button.
If you want to view the details of the payments you received, click on the “activity” button. Then to see the money deposited into your cash app account, just click on the “my cash” button, this keeps a running total of all your deposited funds.
