- If while doing that WhatsApp opens to a conversation, just click on the back button, which you can see on the top at the left side of the screen.
- Then you click on the box that has the pencil icon, on the top at the right side of your screen.
- After that, click on “New Contact”. A new contact page will display.
- Then you enter your contact’s details and phone number. If the number is from a foreign country, you will have to add an area code.
- Then you click on “Done” at the top on the right side of your phone screen.
By doing this, you have saved the person’s number to your iPhone’s Contacts app and if the contact that you added makes use of WhatsApp, it will also save the contact to your WhatsApp contact list.

How To Add Contacts On WhatsApp Using Android
- You will need to open the WhatsApp app first.
- Then you click on the speech bubble icon at the bottom right side of your phone screen.
- Then tap on the “New Contact” icon. Which will take you to a new contact creation page.
- After that, you will need to enter your contact’s details and phone number. If the number is from a foreign country, then you will need to add the area code.
- Then you click on “Done” on the top on the left side of your phone screen.
When you are done doing the above, your contact’s details will be saved to your Android’s Contacts app and also to WhatsApp if the person you added is making use of WhatsApp.
