STEPS OF UPDATING APPS ON SAMSUNG SMART TV
Step 1: Using your Samsung smart Tv remote, click on the home button in the middle of the small, and it will bring up the ‘Menu’ icon on the bottom, and you will see the gear, and it says settings.
Step 2: Click on the gear icon and press on settings.
Step 3: Go over to settings and select.
Step 4: A menu pops up, and Just by the left corner of the menu, scroll down to support and click on it.
Step 5: Click on support, and it will direct you to software update (which would have been highlighted – if not, you go ahead and press enter).
Step 6: Hit the source button on your remote, and on the top left corner, you will click on Tv (make sure it is on Tv). After clicking on Tv, you will relate to the settings (just like step 5). It will show the support icon, but this time it wouldn’t be highlighted, and then you can click on software update (automatic or auto-update), in which the update would have been available.
Step 7: if the tv is off, it means that the app will not update by itself – you’ll need to turn it on for the apps to automatically update (once it’s on, it updates all apps on its own).
Step 8: Click on return, and once that is done, each updated app will pop up on the screen.
Step 9: Click on any of the apps, and it will direct you to the install screen. Different installed app will be visible but, in most cases, if there’s an update and it didn’t automatically update at that moment, it will show on your screen (update instead of open in most cases). But if an automatic update is on, you don’t have to worry about it. It’ll correct itself.
For other apps you can’t find on the screen, you can find them by going back to the gear icon section and selecting any of the apps you installed and cannot see. View details of the app that you want, and it’ll take you to the option in the store to install.
It will show up as an update (if an automatic update is on, you don’t have to worry, the apps will automatically update themselves). Once the option Is on, you can correct anything manually.
