To enable this feature, users are required to toggle off the Read Receipts feature on their regular WhatsApp messenger app. For this to happen, you have to follow these steps:
- Open your WhatsApp from Facebook.
- Click on “Settings”
- Click on “Account”
- Click on “Privacy”
- Lastly, toggle off “Read Receipts”
Once you turn off the Read Receipts feature there is an instant activation of the hide view status and turn off the blue tick feature. Now, it is important to know that this action will have an effect on your account in some way.
