The Facebook platform gives users different ways to express themselves, and one of these ways is the “Like” feature. The like button is represented by a small thumb up icon, which when you tap or click on it would notify the user who posted the content that you “Liked” their post, also people who can see the post can also see how many likes have been made to the post. “Likes” isn’t reserved for Facebook posts but also applies to Facebook pages.

Deleting Facebook Likes from The Mobile Application (Both Android and iOS)
Navigate to your Facebook app on your mobile device and tap on it, next type in your log in details and log into your account. When you’re logged in, navigate to the menu icon and tap on it. It would either be located at the top of the page for android users or at the end of the page for iOS users. Navigate to “Settings & Privacy” as you scroll down the page. Next, select “Settings” and then tap on “Activity Log” under settings. In the activity log, tap on “Category” and choose “Likes and Reactions” from the options. Next, you would see a list of all the posts which you previously liked, search through the list to find the post that you want to delete like or unlike. Tap on the downward arrow icon beside the post and tap on “Unlike” and your like would be deleted from the selected post.
Deleting Likes Using the Web Browser Version
Open the Facebook login URL on your web browser and log into your account. Click on the downward arrow icon at the far right of your dashboard, right next to the question icon. Next, click on “Activity Log”, scroll down and click on “Likes and Reaction”. You would see a list of the posts which you previously liked. Select the post which you want to unlike and click on the pencil edit icon beside the post. Next, click on “unlike” as it displays. This action would unlike the post which you selected.
For those that may be wondering or bothered about getting noticed when they unlike a post, it’s important to note that there’s no notification sent to the user whose post you previously liked when the post gets unliked.
